it really really really is a culture. More so than any other movie series i can think of.

The first films have characters and imagery and quotes that have *never* stopped being relevant since it's release **38** years ago.

there is nothing else like that to compare it to. that's why throwing numbers from other blockbusters out as a comparison are never going to completely capture how an audience will react to this.

and, like others have said - using the original actors will only enhance that.
