I think my new job environment is like this...the message traffic plummets after 3pm on a Friday. I'm not used to this.

granted I'm new so they may be taking it easy on me but still, I'm involved in enough things that I think I have a clearer picture of this.
I'm really used to the opposite - the "Friday Dump" where everyone chucks stuff back at you to make them feel like they've made progress on the overall project and know that I would have time to turn around my pieces before EoD. They are free for the weekend. Hate that (when done to me. If I do it, it's totally cool).
