Damn. I have friends in Paris, and so does my husband, who were at the concert at the Bataclan yesterday. My friends got out with their lives, and his friend got out just barely in the stampede, but the friends and family they were with did not, one of my friends lost his brother, they had gone there for his birthday. A total of 14 of our friends' friends and relatives were killed. They are in shock over this, and how could they not be? I am feeling so badly and praying for all affected by this, but most of all for those killed and their family and loved ones. Candles lit. Please send prayers or good thoughts and energy to all those who lost someone or were there. It is sheer luck that some of my American friends who were there decided not to go the show after all (the concert was for an American Indie rock band that lots of young Americans like, a fact not lost on the terrorists I am sure).
