With the addition for specific bounties tied to playing trials, you can get gear and legendary marks for just playing the games, it makes it much less stressful than having to win or you get nothing.

If you run 3 characters through, and get all the bounties, you get 150 legendary marks and you should get a piece or 2 of 300+ light gear for each character.

You get bonuses for winning 5, 7 and 9 games.

Also random in game drops (got a 299 light shotgun dropped at random during a game)

imo, it makes it playable even for people who struggle at PvP. In the absolute worst case, you'd get 1 300+ piece of gear just by playing. -- nm - Shaun Nov 16, 07:49 10
