people to be driven closer to it, screened separately from the masses, and then be driven directly to an airplane. there'd be enhanced privacy and security with all that.

some airports handle their private plane areas closer to that already (at least third-party fbos at them can be), but others are more integrated. sounds like LAX has been the latter.
