In response to "Survivor talk from last night (sp?)" by Strongbad

I actually agree with the evolution part, but I don't think it's a permanent evolution (spoils)

I think it's just for this season and I think there are 2 reasons for it. Pre game alliances - and there were a shit ton of them and multiple tribe swaps.

People have been jumbled up so much that the typical tribal alliances were never really formed. Just several small groups of people who have hooked up.

So, instead of Tagi taking out Pagong one at a time until none are left....or the more recent versions of wiping out the smaller alliance until you're ready to turn on each other, there are no major alliances in this season.

Only small voting blocs, none of which are big enough to do anything on their own.

So, you have the Stephen/Jeremy/Spencer bloc deciding to use the 3 Amigas to take out Wiglesworth this week. That, in no way binds these 2 groups for the next vote and Jeremy and Stephen likely will pull Tasha and Kimmi right back in and continue on as planned.

They keep calling it an evolution as if the game will forever be changed by it and that will only happen if they continue to announce the cast before they head out to play and swap the tribes a whole bunch. If not - it will revert back to the way it use to be as tribes will have more time to form stronger bonds.

I really think this is a one off that is the result of a perfect storm of producer interference.

I'm actually enjoying the season because it is completely unpredictable and I think there are a few people that are playing really good games so far.
