I agree with this. The main difference being (spoils - for 2 really old Survivor seasons)

Rob is very likable and Brian Heidik is not. So - RI is more tolerable because the guy you've grown to love over 3 other seasons is dominating.
In Thailand, you had a completely despicable person domination, so not as much fun.
I also find it cool that David loves a season with Philip on it. lol
