Just not the wing-nutty kind of Republican. In state and local races, there are still enough smart, intelligent, dedicated, thoughtful Republicans running for office to keep me interested -- at least here in Oregon.

And I feel sorry for folks who feel compelled to vote for someone simply based on political party affiliation, rather than ideology, experience, plans, character, and all the other substantive aspects necessary for holding elective office.
