calling that number thinking it was Microsoft. She then paid them and allowed them to log in to clean the computer. Well.. the computer is working now but...

She was convinced it was real. I had her google the 800 number she called and it all showed up as scams.

So now she is calling the credit card company to stop payment and get a new CC #.

Tomorrow I will have to format that computer because I am not sure what they installed.
