Verdict

Typically, when Survivor throws up a double episode on the eve of a holiday weekend, it's because they're trying to burn off a couple of really predictable boots as they ramp up to the endgame. So color me shocked when both exits actually turned out to be preceded by savvy gameplay and huge moves, and neither felt obvious. It gets a little tedious in the middle, but there are many worse ways to spend two hours -- which no doubt some of you will re-learn later today as you sit down to fill your face with way too much overdone turkey while trying to tune out that politically extreme relative you've secretly blocked on Facebook.
