I can see the river from my room. My companion got a VIP package from the convention center. Free breakfasts and lunches nearly every day. Most transportation will be free. Passes to Mardi Gras World, World War II museum, and others. They made reservations for dinner at a couple places. We have a guided tour of the gay bars in the Fauborg Marigny neighborhood Sunday afternoon. Plus other stuff if only we more time to do it all.

Right now I just want to sleep (up at 2:30 for the early flight). But we need to have our traditional Thanksgiving dinner at a casino buffet. Harrah's is just up the street.

Tomorrow we have a bus tour that I got with Groupon. Then free jazz brunch at Court of Two Sisters.
