Holy withholding Batman. 46.6663% withholding?!

Federal: 25.1463 (as if I ever pay near that marginal rate)
SS: 6.2 ok
Medicare 1.45 ok
NY State: 9.62 (!). The highest tax rate in NY state is 8.82% and that is for millionaires (and I'm nowhere close)
NYC Tax: 4.25 (!) Similarly, highest rate is 3.876 and that's for people who make over 500K (and I'm nowhere close)

Bizarre.
