You guys should also install the Forza Hub app on the console and use it to redeem Forza Rewards credits each week.

You'll have some credits and cars to start with based on your previous Forza franchise play, and you get bonus cars when you level up, so you shouldn't have a problem buying the cars you want early in the game. But redeeming the credit gifts each week also helps.
