to which I was once again told how terrible of a player he was.

And the arguement last year was that he COULD win an MVP after coming back from injury. Which he did not perform up to the level needed. Had he performed as he did the first 2 months of this season in the last 2 months of last season, and the Nats make the playoffs, we might be having a different conversation.
