Pippy!

makeup-type talk. I'm not sure if you know that costco.com sometimes has some great deals on various sephora-type items for makeup and skincare, sometimes just for members but sometimes not.

I just noticed a great deal on 2 Nars products that may be of interest - $9.99 (~13 shipped) for a dual-intensity eyeshadow in Himalia, regular retail price is 29.99 (I nabbed it); and a dual-intensity blush in fervor for $29.99 (my pores just say no to almost anything not matte), regular price is $45. they also have had some great prices on dr. jart bb creams (I can't use 'em) and micellar water*, if you've had an interest in them.

if you don't have a costco membership and are interested, let me know. :) -

*micellar talk: I've used bioderma for years, but recently bought a couple of bottles of garnier's (very similar, only less spendy) from feelunique when they had some kind of sale on them. I subsequently read that the garnier would be out in the u.s. next year. saturday, I saw a display at cvs! oh well, at least I got a decent deal. (cvs also had one that says it'll remove waterproof makeup - wish I'd seen that at feelunique, as I would have tried one of those, too.)

I had a sample of the dr. jart in a birchbox a while back. it does a pretty great job of getting most waterproof eye makeup off (something I've tried oh so many products for), enough that I used bb points to nab a full-size bottle when they sent me a nice loyalty discount last week.
