That's fine, but the real issue is that there's a difference between childcare for a PM's family and everyone having access to government childcare.

If you're a CEO of a large company and you have a young family, the company is going to provide some sort of childcare as part of the overall compensation package (in part so the CEO can keep their mind on the job and not worry so much about family issues). Trudeau's situation is not really different from this.
That's very different from "whose childcare should the government subsidise". But it's a much tougher message to sell, so...
