when I rented, the property manager had some contractor friend of hers do reseating of shower doors, and he used the clear kind. he did something wrong or used the wrong stuff, and not just my unit but at least one other one had mold present. ugh.

there ended-up being some water-damage by the tub - not enough that an urgent fix was needed, and recaulking stopped it spreading; but I need to have a repair done at some point. (I bought the condo I rented.)

It's white caulking. I think it's just old and needs to be replaced. I'm debating on doing it myself or making the landlord do it. -- nm - Darth Sycor Dec 9, 12:45 2

- when I rented, I did fill-ins myself; but, for replacement, I'd ask the landlord, unless you fear a rent increase - they can have a pro. make sure - bb.-8 Dec 9, 12:48
