heh, also, even cranky noel gallagher says he loves coldplay (and u2).

the chron had a piece the other day about people complaining about the coldplay choice for the s.b. of course, they didn't look at people who said it was a good one.
there was one criticism that I thought had some merit - it would have been better if there had been bay area artists chosen. plenty to choose from for a mix, especially.
