they're very careful about the wording of their claims. years ago, when it was first getting a lot of attention, they kept connecting

the "algae soup" to a doctor who first put it together, who, it was said, did so to treat chemical burns he'd suffered in a lab accident; but, while they still tell that story, they had to switch to using regular ol' skincare terms.

it's always amused me that, after the initial product, they kept bringing out more - the first one that was meant to be "the one" wasn't so miraculous and wondrous after all?
