You know, I read that yesterday and if it happened that's 100% uncalled for. But I have my doubts about the veracity.

If he were a reporter I think I'd believe him. I got very leery when I got to the "is an attorney and director of the Advocates for Human Rights’ Refugee and Immigrant Program" part. -- nm

I would also believe him if he said he was asked if he were "Syrian", "Muslim" or "a terrorist". "Refugee" is mighty convenient for his cause. -- nm

That's part of my skepticism--he says he reported it to security, but security says they were unaware until the op-ed.

I have no idea what security procedures are. For a host of other reasons, I'm reserving doubt the incident happened at all. -- nm
