I agree it's more nuanced than that. He's not, for instance, arguing that black students that get in on the top 10% test should go to slower schools.

But, his is arguing that among the 25% that get in on a basis other than being in the top 10% of the class, black students would be better off at slower schools. He's not arguing that white students that fall in that group also would.
