As pathetic as the two "concerned citizens" are, the town council is worse for listening..

Sometimes constituents need to be ignored. And if they have the ear of the community and could easily vote you out, maybe that should be an indication it's time to find someplace to live that *isn't* trying to live in the stone age.
It's one thing to admit you can't effect change, quite another to aide and abet in preventing change.
