Two Ohio gas station employees who fought back against an attempted robbery are becoming a viral sensation.
According to The Courier newspaper, 29-year-old Jeremy Sherbrook entered a Marathon gas station shortly after midnight November 21, wearing a mask, wielding wire cutters and demanding money.
But the workers weren't having it.
In a surveillance video posted to YouTube, one of the employees comes around a corner and swings a mop handle at Sherbrook. As the suspect engages in a fight with that man, a second employee comes from behind the counter, grabs Sherbrook and drags him across the store's lobby.
That's when the first man comes running with the wringer from a mop bucket, swinging it and hitting Sherbrook in the back. As the suspect scrambles for the door, the second employee pulls him back in, flinging him against the counter.
Sherbrook tries to put his shoe back on, but his troubles aren't over. A customer enters the store as the first employee keeps swinging the mop bucket. The customer hits Sherbrook with a display unit, then tackles him into the counter.
As the video ends, a woman enters the store and she, too, gets a few punches in on the suspect.
The potential victims were able to subdue Sherbrook and hold him until police arrived. He was arrested and charged in that crime, along with two other robberies in the Findlay area.
