Driving Poll: How do you navigate? Are you a "turn, right, turn left" or "turn east, turn north" type of driver?

I use the cardinal directions, mostly.
My wife cannot navigate that way. It has to be left or right for her.

Right/left. Though I can do N/S in certain places. My area is a bit winding and round-about to do it often though. And I like landmarks. -- nm

Left/Right. If you don't have something to indicate what direction you're facing/driving, like mountains, how would you know? -- nm

Usually, right/left but I'm fine with NESW if I'm in the city. In cities I'm not familiar with or places with winding roads those kinds of directions

people who navigate by compass need to be dropped in the wild and chased by Meg for her amusement.

Depends on whether the road is a highway and would have cardinals easily posted. -- nm
