... the way and the amount of time given in the scene we get Han and Chewie back. Just a really great chance to see Han being Han. I was really afraid we would have limited "glimpses" of him but instead they gave him the stage.
I saw the scene coming but I still literally had a chest pain when it happened. Star Wars came our when I was 9 years old. A happy kid. Empire came out when I was 12. Months after my parents divorced and I was living in a strange new city with no friends, miserable. At 15 years old, Jedi was released and that summer it became my best friend. I walked alone, five miles into town weekly, and watched it.
Han was my hero and mentor. A I have said, everything I needed to know about life I learned from the trilogy, and most of that from Han Solo.
