I heard rumors that Darth Plagueis was going to be in this trilogy. Supreme Leader, aside from being taller than the tall Plagueis sure seems to fit. It would mirror the LotR mythology that Sauron is a lesser Evil Being then Melkor. That Plagueis actually engineered everything we've seen, that the fall of the Empire was actually intentional.

My EU memory is fuzzy however, in that I don't think they resurrected Plagueis. But if they do this and pull it off, I think it'll be something that puts the entire movie franchise into rare company.
