I was convinced that death scene was going the other way, and Abrams played it out chaotic and slow. I was sure Kylo was asking Han to kill him. and THEN. It was an absolute gut punch. I love love love what they did with Kylo.

I'm 99.9% convinced Rey is Luke's daughter. THey might as well have put a neon sign on it.

And the final Luke scene hit me every bit as hard as JJ wanted.

Brilliant movie making.

My ONE complaint, and it ain't big, for my taste there were about 5 too many references to Episode IV. That said, I think the script very much gave the new characters space to breathe. And I loved how the beloved old characters were treated.
