we had 16 participants (a bunch of neighborhood folks were out today or had a conflict); and, oddly, three gifts were phone power pack thingies. only two bottles of wine. best thing, aside from mine, was a $20 bill inside a felt snowman bag - the gifter said he didn't have time to nab a bevmo g.c.
