I have a Nexus Player. I think the NVIDIA Shield is considered the all around best.

Get a full-fledged Roku. The new ones even have audio controls, which helps a lot. -- nm

I like my roku stick, but there's newer tech now. Since I mostly only use it for Netflix, I haven't felt a need to upgrade. -- nm
