SW:tFA doesn't...force...the issue.

there's nothing in it feels like it was written deliberately to a, "a 3D Scene" the way some movies do it. So it's not hamfisted and cheesy (I just referenced ham and cheese in the same sentence...yeah).
It's just sort of part of the movie. As I said - don't take my word for things like the 3D or music on this as I was focused on other things. It'll be a 2nd viewing where I can watch for other aspects of the movie.
"Avatar" is the gold standard for 3D as far as I am concerned. They wrote the movie with the ability to film in 3D in mind and made a movie with a compelling story (albeit a simple and manipulatively plotted one) which really thoughtfully integrated modern 3D capabilities.
