The ability is there. Jurassic World did it. The prequels that opened on Thursday did.

Avatar did (which opened on the exact same day).
If this opened on a Wednesday you wouldn't question a Saturday increase. This was really a Thursday opening. $57 million of the need to see it crowd was cleared before the weekend. I think I may even be conservative with the increase.
