Luke wouldve been seduced by the Dark Side by doin that(Vengeful feeling for Hans death)..As powerful as he is now, wouldve been dangerous.

Everything about the Force is about balance, for every Kylo theres a Rey. The minute Luke gets involved, a big baddie from the Dark Side is gonna roll in. So his presence creates a disturbance in the Force which draws out the crazies. Which is why him and Yoda were low key at times.

Example...
The minute Palpatine reveals hes Sith, boom theres Yoda riding in.

The Dark and the Light sense one another. One isnt gonna roll heavy without the other knowin.
