I don't know if ST will remember, but we have a law in KY that you can only appear on a ballot once per election. He wants to run for his Senate seat simultaneously (consolation prize), so he convinced the KRP to hold a first-ever caucus for the presidential nomination. They acquiesced provided that he came up with the $500,000 they estimated it would cost to put it on. He already ponied up $250,000 earnest money, so he'll lose mad face if he drops before the caucus.
