do you think they take in how they introduce it. You essentially have two audiences for SWCU. One that knows about the canon and one that doesn't. For example, Mel commented on my post earlier about Rey's origins with a Darth character I had never heard of.

If they are making plot decisions on non-movie canon details, do they alienate a big part of their audience that has no idea what they are referencing?
