*nods* and yesterday I saw something on tv about the abundance of sugary drinks (pop, sports drinks, juice, etc.) that kids and teens are consuming...

the report said that when they substitute those empty (non-nutritious) calories with water, those calories tend not to be replaced via snacks or such.
but not only are the extra calories bad but the sugar habit these drinks create is really bad for them in the long run.
they said that even changing to milk is much better because of the nutrients that milk supplies.
