I think the Reagan stuff was just era marking. The alien BS, esp with the Dad's office full of alienish symbols etc....don't forget the reason the first brother got hit by the car was he was looking up at the alien ship.
I wish the blow hard lawyer got another appearance.
my complaint was there was no evident gangster action going on (I mean besides the whacking, killing, mass murdering of other gangs and misc citizens) in fact, the ending was the anthisis of everything we 'love' about gangstering. no drug dealing/delivery as part of the plot furthering. minor issue.
