You must've seen a very different movie than I did.

I don't think it is at all clear cut either way. But I do think the narrative is a heck of a lot stronger if you have a sister setting out to redeem a brother than you do if the story is a cousin setting out to redeem or defeat a cousin.

Cousins ends of sounding like something from Spceballs.
