West Alton is being evacuated (upgraded from voluntary to mandatory) because the levee is 5 feet (!) too low. Further down the river they'll have records because they never got as high in 1993 because the levies let go here. We haven't heard any of ours are in trouble on the Mississippi or Missouri but they're sandbagging the hell out of low lying areas by the smaller rivers.
