I didn't get that. he said he made the choice to be able to fund pet projects that probably wouldn't be popular/that he didn't care if

they made money; and he also mentioned his aging and family.
he was very critical of studios and such, notsomuch of himself. to a fault, as a bigger dose of self-effacing would have served him well.
