One of the main takeaways of these docs (spoils for serial and MAM)

Is the difference between innocent and not guilty. Because if Avery (or Adnan) were 100% provably innocent the case would be long resolved and there would be no dramatic basis for a documentary about them.
So it comes down to an examination of the legal standard in this country and these cases really test us on our commitment to that standard because Steve Avery was probably a shady guy and may have killed TH. Adnan may have killed Hae. Not Guilty just means the state failed to make its case, not anything more.
Personally I believe SA is innocent and Adnan killed Hae, and they should have both been found Not Guilty.
I can see how you or someone could look at it differently and kind of combine the two aspects of the issue. Morally it matters more if they are innocent or guilty. But I always (try to) look at it separately as I believe the legal standard requires.
