Danny Glover plays a WWII solider who comes back to his home town looking for a girl and a painting.
The two problems: The girl was white (Problem at the end ofWWII) and the painting was a missing Van Gogh (worth multi-millions and everybody wanted).
There was a flashback sequence which, was touching, and they used the crew as the actors.
Very touching
