use for going out in deeper snow when I have to shovel or just trudge around. It doesn't look like the uggs you're thinking of. They're really warm and just look like snow boots. The other is a pair of uggs slippers that I just got for Christmas as a gift from my SIL. I'm not a slipper wearer generally, but they have a rubber sole so I can use them to run outside for something if I just want to slip something on quickly. Both are very warm and comfortable.
