My logic is: Any money I use in gambling is being intentionally thrown away for the fun of it.

I, too, only tend to buy tickets for large jackpots - and even then, I usually don't work up the energy to actually follow through on it.
As much as I like the idea of winning, I just don't believe it's possible.
