that would have been bad enough. but his shitheel appointed lawyer got his own private investigator to bully a full confession out of him to use against Avery. which, if you get immunity for your client in exchange for the testimony, might be a great deal for the client. but shitheel didn't even try to use it as leverage for immunity or even a better plea deal. so the kid just ended up more fucked than after the interrogation when he went to trial himself
