the 3.5 year plan involves shutting down one tube at a time, running limited single-track service into Manhattan (probably weekdays only would be my guess).

The G ran with only one track for a while. They alternated between Queens bound and Brooklyn bound trains during the week and shut it down -- (edited) - Krusty Jan 13, 18:56 6
