I "like" that they compounded their stupidity by selling the pipes that connected them to Detroit for scrap

so it cost them more than they ever would have hoped to save just connected it back to potable water again, except they probably have to replace *all* the pipes in Flint now because the protective oxide coating has been stripped away. I'd say this would be a wakeup call for pointless governmental penny pinching, but you'd wonder if I'd had a concussion.
