He wanted to give a zero for something that wasn't handed in, which is not good professional practice. You're saying you're assessing something that you don't have. We have a category in our marketing called "NHI" meaning Not Handed In, which counts as a zero in the calculation, but accurately reflects the work done or not done. He just chose to make a stink about a semantic difference and repeatedly defied adminstration on this. I have plenty of zeros on my record, *if* they did work but it was all wrong.
