they denied my credit application and instead offered me a *lease* on the fridge. I will be amused to see why they declined. too many inquiries? nope. DTI too high? nope. credit score too low? no. too much credit available to me? possibly, but what's $1000 when my utilization is under 1%?

the big time harangue was that I had a choice of free delivery or free financing. after I was denied credit, I was like, here's a credit card, give me free delivery and their computer refused to give it to me because I had already selected free financing. "just cancel the transaction and start again," I suggested nine thousand times. but no, apparently that's not what we do. so managers had to get involved.

100% I would have bought online had I not thought I could get it sooner by going to the store. never again. #internet4life
