I have well documented issues with the accents in The Departed.

Wahlberg should be ashamed of himself. He's clearly spent too much time in LA. He sounded like an actor trying to do the accent.

Sheen sounded like JFK which - ok, you still hear but not really.

DiCaprio nailed it in a surprise. He's the best non-native actor to do it.

The gold standard is still Matt and Ben in GWH. Of course they were practically still here when they filmed it.
