I'm just saying...if the hashtag and talking points are all about OscarSoWhite - then it sets up these kinds of conversations.

I said it yesterday...if the complaint is about the system and the lack of work for minorities (specifically African Americans) then they're tagline shouldn't single out the Oscars...#HollywoodSoWhite works just as well and stops all of the "who's deserving of awards" conversations.
If it's really not about the awards but the industry - there's no reason to single out the awards with your hashtag. Sure, boycott them - that's a great addition to the HollywoodSoWhite movement. But they *appear* to be laying this all on the Oscars, even if that's not what they're trying to do.
